InstaCom School - Standard enables schools to assign administrative and broadcast roles to key members of the organization. Broadcast functions are reserved for organization leaders and group leaders. Organization leaders can send messages to any individual, group, or to all members of their organization. Group leaders are allowed to send messages to the groups they are assigned to lead.
- Initiate broadcasts from virtually anywhere at anytime by phone or Internet.
- Choose the communication devices on which the message will be sent or delivered. Delivery devices include phone (mobile, land line, or satellite), fax, computer (for email and Instant Messenger), PDA (including BlackBerry ®), SMS, and alpha or numeric pager.
- Send voice and text messages simultaneously in a single broadcast. The text message will be delivered to text devices and the audio message will be delivered to audio devices.
- Send notifications in English or in Spanish.
- Convert text messages to voice messages or record your own voice message. Audio messages are announced immediately upon connection so there is no confusion with telemarketing calls.
- Require message confirmation or acknowledgement from each recipient.
- Schedule broadcasts to be sent immediately, at a future date and time, or on a daily, weekly, or monthly recurring basis.
- Re-broadcast a communication message only to those who did not confirm the message.
- Create a customized greeting that introduces all voice messages.
- Record messages in advance and store them in the organization's message library for future use.
- Add attachments to email messages for important addendums, such as permission slips.
